VPN keeps turning off?

It's not an app issue. Your phone's system closes VPN in the background.

Why is this happening and how to fix it?

What's happening

Android closes background apps to save battery — even ones that barely use any. Tuman VPN gets caught in the same net.

What to do

Add Tuman VPN to battery exceptions. It won't affect battery life — VPN already uses minimum power.

May stop VPN

Steps

1
Turn off Eco mode
Open: Phone Manager → Power saver → Eco mode → off
Eco mode closes background apps to save battery.
2
Add VPN to optimized mode exceptions
Open: Phone Manager → Power saver → Optimized mode → add Tuman VPN as an exception (or turn the mode off entirely)
Optimized mode limits background activity for everything that isn't on its exception list.
3
Allow background running
Open: Phone Manager → Power saver → Advanced settings → Background process whitelist → add Tuman VPN
Apps on the whitelist run in the background without interruption.
4
Turn off battery optimization
Open: Settings → Apps → Tuman VPN → Battery → Don't optimize
This removes the system's per-app power limit.

Always-on VPN
For maximum stability, also enable Always-on VPN — it keeps the connection live even if the app briefly restarts.
Settings → Network → VPN → Tuman VPN → Always-on VPN
