VPN keeps turning off?

It's not an app issue. Your phone's system closes VPN in the background.

Why is this happening and how to fix it?

What's happening

Android closes background apps to save battery — even ones that barely use any. Tuman VPN gets caught in the same net.

What to do

Add Tuman VPN to battery exceptions. It won't affect battery life — VPN already uses minimum power.

Steps

1
Allow autostart
Open: Settings → More settings → Applications → Autostart → turn on Tuman VPN
This lets the VPN come back on by itself after you restart your phone.
2
Set battery to unrestricted
Open: Settings → Apps → Tuman VPN → Battery → Unrestricted
This stops the system from closing VPN to save power. Battery set to Unrestricted for Tuman VPN
3
Allow background power
Open: Settings → Battery → Background power consumption management → turn on Tuman VPN (if you see a "High" option, that's fine — it just means "no limit")
VPN needs to keep talking to the network even when the app is closed. Background power consumption enabled
4
Lock in recent apps
Go to: Recent apps → swipe Tuman VPN down → tap the lock icon
Locked apps stay in memory and keep running. Tuman VPN locked in recent apps

Always-on VPN
For maximum stability, also enable Always-on VPN — it keeps the connection live even if the app briefly restarts.
Settings → Network → VPN → Tuman VPN → Always-on VPN
