VPN keeps turning off?

Android closes background apps to save battery — even ones that barely use any. Tuman VPN gets caught in the same net.

What to do

Add Tuman VPN to battery exceptions. It won't affect battery life — VPN already uses minimum power.

Steps

Avoid STAMINA "Prefer battery time"
Settings → Battery → STAMINA mode → STAMINA level → Don't set to "Prefer battery time"

Whitelist in Power-saving feature
Settings → Apps & Notifications → Advanced → Special app access → Power saving feature → Tuman VPN → Excepted

Disable Adaptive Battery
Settings → Battery → Adaptive Battery → Turn off

Disable battery optimization
Settings → Battery → Three dots top right → Battery optimisation → Apps → Tuman VPN → Don't optimize
Always-on VPN
For maximum stability, enable: Settings → Network → VPN → Tuman VPN → Always-on VPN
