VPN keeps turning off?

It's not an app issue. Your phone's system closes VPN in the background.

Why is this happening and how to fix it?

What's happening

Android closes background apps to save battery — even ones that barely use any. Tuman VPN gets caught in the same net.

What to do

Add Tuman VPN to battery exceptions. It won't affect battery life — VPN already uses minimum power.

Steps

1
Add to protected apps
Open: Settings → Advanced settings → Battery manager → Protected apps → check Tuman VPN
Protected apps aren't closed by the system to save power.
2
Use performance power plan
Open: Settings → Advanced settings → Battery manager → Power plan → Performance
Your phone cleans up background apps less aggressively in this mode.
3
Keep running with screen off
Open: Settings → Apps → Tuman VPN → Battery → Keep running after screen off → on
This stops your phone from suspending VPN when the screen locks.
4
Allow background processes
Open: Security → Permissions → Background processes → Tuman VPN → Allow
VPN needs permission to keep talking to the network in the background.

Always-on VPN
For maximum stability, also enable Always-on VPN — it keeps the connection live even if the app briefly restarts.
Settings → Network → VPN → Tuman VPN → Always-on VPN
